What happens to the bullets you shoot Wolverine with?

We all know Logan's mutant power. His famous healing factor allows him to heal any damage made to his body from a simple paper cut to tanking an atomic explosion. So my question is this, If you shoot him with a gun and the bullets through his flesh (not his bones) like being shot in the chest and having a bullet stuck in between the ripcage. Well what happens to bullets after he heals then? Do they stay lodged in his body cuz if thats the case, he must be full of lead by now.
