Why is this happening to me?

you were the only one nice to her and she kind of feels connected to you somehow. she has no one else and you are the closest thing to a friend she has and she doesnt want to give that up or believe in the reality. she is also very jealous and wants to pretty much be you. i think a restraining order is a good idea.
