What should i do?

My boss asked me why i hadnt turned in the report that i was supposed to. I paniced and said I had been abducted by aliens and left it on their spaceship. he got very frightened and told everyone in the company that our business is under siege from aliens and that no one is safe. Now he comes to work in a tinfoil hat and when we have meatings he cavity searches us to make sure we are really human and not robot replacements. What do i do?
