Can I start do gym every friday saturday and sunday...and then play badminton on mondays and tuesdays?

i do play badminton but i noticed im getting very skinny...ppl tell me start by doing gym monday wed and friday but my college schedule doesnt allow it so can i do gym from friday to sunday and then do badminton (cardio) on mondays and tuesday for 2 hrs ? And can you also tell me what i should do at the gym? like tell me some lifting and excerises...then i will organize them from friday to sunday...
