Should I put my sugar gliders together?

I have had a male sugar glider for about a year he is 11/2 yr old I recently got from a friend a mother (who has 2 in pouch) a father and thier 4mth old male son oop I was wondering can I put the male I have in the cage if I go get them all fixed first I dont need a ton of joeys or should the son be taken out when joeys are oop nothing I have read explains how to place them everything just says "must have more than one" to be honest isnt always true can someone that has sugar gliders (experience) please explain it to me?
