Plagiarism?
My professor said I plagiarized because I didn't use in-text citations, so he told me that if I fix it & use the appropriate in-text citation he'd give me a minimal ping grade. Does this mean he's trying to get me to pinpoint each part & prove that I didn't plagiarize? Or do you think he's just wanting me to fulfill the cl ignment by having the in-text citation? After I inspected the 9 page paper, there were 3 sentences from three different sources that could be considered plagiarism without the in-text citation. I see that now. I had a works cited page at the end & figured at this retarded community college that I'm going to that would suffice. He said we were supposed to use MLA style format, but didn't ***** about us not having a notes page. He told me all of this 15 mins. before I had to do the presentation on the paper & I asked him if I should even do it & he said yes, so I did. I just don't know what to expect. I had a works cited page.
