I need an example of an oxyanion that is soluble in water and its uses?

In my chemistry cl, we are describing how oxyanions soluble in water have beneficial uses to humans. For example - BaSO4 (s) is mixed in water and given to patients that need to get an X-Ray of their digestive tract.
