Does what I have eaten and done today sound good if I want to lose weight?

Today I have had soup for lunch. Stir-fry with chicken pieces for dinner and snacks such as apples and melons. I have done squats mixed with burpees and cardio such as running on the spot for 10 minutes. Does that sound like a good day? Also is it ok to eat pasta when your dieting? I know pasta contains carbs which isn't ideal for weight lose? Thank you
