Cut by the rusty end of a broom? Please help?

I was at a friend's house and I was sweeping the stuff of her trampoline. The end was broken and rusty. I cut myself on the leg with it. We put a Band-Aid on it but nothing else. It really stings, and it isn't deep, but is there anything I should do other than treating in regularly (Neosporin and Band-Aids)?
