In regards to finishing our basement.?

On the unfinished side of our basement there is a floor drain. It's used for water softner drainage and washtub drainage. Can I lead the 2 hoses directly into the drain? Now there is a grate over the drain,so the water goes on the floor also. I want to make it so the floor won't get wet around the drain.

I'm one of those people who're a bit... morbid. History Day 2011's theme is 'Debate and Diplomacy'. I can NOT, for the life of me, think of ANYTHING that will interest me to do for this project! The kinds of things I study are things like Jack the Ripper, Elizabeth Bathory, Bram Stoker, the 'Black Dahlia' murder, the Manson murders, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, other more modern or not so 'debate and diplomacy'-ish. I have to have my papers done by the end of a 45-minute cl period tomorrow, and still have no idea what to do! Can anyone help me find something that I'll find interesting to study? I've been looking for nearly an hour and can't find any good topics. Thank you!

My professor said I plagiarized because I didn't use in-text citations, so he told me that if I fix it & use the appropriate in-text citation he'd give me a minimal ping grade. Does this mean he's trying to get me to pinpoint each part & prove that I didn't plagiarize? Or do you think he's just wanting me to fulfill the cl ignment by having the in-text citation? After I inspected the 9 page paper, there were 3 sentences from three different sources that could be considered plagiarism without the in-text citation. I see that now. I had a works cited page at the end & figured at this retarded community college that I'm going to that would suffice. He said we were supposed to use MLA style format, but didn't ***** about us not having a notes page. He told me all of this 15 mins. before I had to do the presentation on the paper & I asked him if I should even do it & he said yes, so I did. I just don't know what to expect. I got pricked by a barrel cactus....and it hurts...HELP!!?

Ok so today at work I got pricked by a barrel cactus. It sort of looks like it's got pointy zip ties. On one of the stings it is really swollen and hurts if I touch it....it seems like the pain is getting worse, but not unbearable. I did bleed a lot. Im not sure what it is, or if it's just irritated. It is located on my left hand wrist [palm down, located on left side]. Does anyone know what it can be??
